The election took place during the Global Alliance’s 24th Annual General Meeting, held on 22 May 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic. The newly elected Board will officially assume office on 1 July 2026.

As a Regional Delegate-at-Large, Caver will continue to represent the interests of communication professionals and certification holders worldwide while contributing to the strategic direction of the global confederation of communication and public relations organizations.

“I am honoured to continue serving on the Global Alliance Executive Board and representing the Global Communication Certification Council,” said Caver.

“The communication profession continues to evolve at a remarkable pace. Global collaboration has never been more important as we navigate emerging technologies, changing stakeholder expectations, and the growing need for trusted, ethical communication. I look forward to working alongside colleagues from around the world to strengthen our profession and support communication professionals in demonstrating their value and impact.”

The 2026 Global Alliance Annual General Meeting also marked the adoption of several significant initiatives, including the Global Principles of Ethical Practice in PR and Communication Management, the Global Alliance Responsible AI Principles for the PR and Communication Profession, the Global Alliance Diversity, Equity, Equality and Inclusion Policy Framework, and the Roman Declaration on Green Communication Responsibility.

“The work of the Global Alliance aligns closely with the GCCC’s commitment to advancing professional excellence and ethical practice,” Caver said. “The adoption of these landmark frameworks reflects the profession’s collective responsibility to lead with integrity, accountability, and purpose.”

The GCCC congratulates Caver on her re-election and looks forward to her continued contribution to advancing the communication profession worldwide.
